Azitra is located right near our Lennox at Brier Creek community in Raleigh, NC. If you’re looking for delicious Indian food and exceptional service then I have a great place for you! Azitra boasts a beautiful modern dining room that is bathed in comfortable blue lighting. The creative interior design reminds one of a setting that wouldn’t seem out of place in New York City or San Francisco. That atmosphere is further accentuated on some nights by the one-man-house-band. He provides music via his sitar and loop pedals. His enthusiastic playing fits the restaurant theme well. It’s energetic and innovative but not over the top.
Specialty diets are catered to here so don’t be afraid to bring along your vegetarian and vegan friends. They’ll find delicious foods to enjoy like the chana masala, roti and palak paneer. The servings are generous and you’ll probably be taking a doggy bag home.
Wine lovers are in luck. Azitra’s wine list is extensive with vintages to suit all tastes. My only complaint is that the dessert menu is a little weak. If you’re looking to impress a date with your wordly tastes this is a great place to do it. It’s just around the corner from Lennox at Brier Creek!
